ArchMage是一个射击游戏，在这个梦幻的虚拟世界中，玩家可以扮作年轻的男巫与龙一起并肩作战，或扮作女巫使用神秘的独脚兽进行作战，消灭众多的恶魔，从而拯救lake shire。在35个游戏关卡中，玩家将和巨大的兽人，异性昆虫，独眼巨人，石像怪，龙，以及其他邪恶的野兽进行作战，而最后将面对的是demon king。
值得关注的是，游戏中出现的runes和spells都是以往射击游戏里没有的。
